Privacy Policy

JDPay Solutions Inc. ("JDPay", "we", "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting personal data in accordance with Republic Act No. 10173 (the Data Privacy Act of 2012), its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and issuances of the National Privacy Commission (NPC) and the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP).
1. Personal data we collect
- Business and identity data: business details, owner/authorized-signatory names, government IDs, and registration documents collected during onboarding and KYC.
- Transaction data: payment, disbursement, and settlement records, references, and amounts.
- Technical data: log, device, and usage information when you use our dashboards and APIs.
- Communications: records of your inquiries, complaints, and support interactions.
2. How we use personal data
- to provide, operate, and improve the Services;
- to perform KYC, merchant due diligence, screening, and transaction monitoring;
- to comply with legal and regulatory obligations (including AML/CTPF and BSP requirements);
- to prevent fraud and secure our platform; and
- to respond to your inquiries and complaints.
3. Legal bases
We process personal data on the bases permitted by the Data Privacy Act, including the performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, our legitimate interests, and, where required, your consent.
4. Sharing and disclosure
We may share personal data with our licensed bank and e-money partners, the QR Ph, InstaPay, and PESONet networks, regulators and law-enforcement authorities where legally required, and service providers who support our operations under appropriate confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
5. Data retention
We retain personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes above and to meet legal, regulatory, accounting, and reporting requirements, after which it is securely disposed of.
6. Security
We apply organizational, physical, and technical safeguards, including encryption of sensitive data at rest, signature verification of API requests, and mandatory two-factor authentication on dashboard access.
7. Your rights
Subject to the Data Privacy Act, you have the right to be informed, to access, to object, to rectify, to erase or block, to data portability, to damages, and to lodge a complaint with the NPC. To exercise your rights, contact our Data Protection Officer below.
